Virgin weekend upgrade
If you’d like to enjoy a little luxury, why not upgrade to First Class at the weekend? The benefits include complimentary tea, coffee, water and biscuits which are available to collect from our onboard shop, and roomier seats so you can really stretch out.
How much does it cost?
You can now upgrade to First Class for just £15.
First Class upgrades are valid on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays and can be booked either in advance or on the train; depending on your ticket type. Please ask for more details when you buy your ticket.
On weekends and Bank Holidays, you can upgrade to First Class free of charge if you hold a Standard Open ticket by informing the Train Manager. Subject to availability.
